My client is a cloud-based CA practice with 3 Directors and 20 staff.
The firm's key service offering is their virtual CFO services.
In addition they also provide tax and annual compliance, strategic advice and R&D; consulting.
They aim to use technology to deliver smarter, simpler, and more efficient accounting solutions.
A good portion of the firm's clientele are start-ups and tech industry clients, along with a whole host of other industries catered for as well.
Clients can range from businesses that are pre-revenues up to approx.
$30 million in annual turnover.
The team here in Australia is supported by offshore counterparts in the Philippines.They are now seeking an experienced Senior to Supervisor level Accountant to join their team.
This role will work closely with the Directors to manage VCFO services for a select portfolio of clients.
You will also work collaboratively with junior team members both onshore and offshore.
This is a client-facing role, so it would suit someone who enjoys being frontline with clients and developing relationships.

The firm provides all team members with necessary technology and home office set-up (including a work phone), have a highly versatile approach to work, and have regular social and team based events to remain connected.ResponsibilitiesOutsourced CFO duties including: Budgeting and forecasting, Month-end Accounting, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reporting, Monthly Consolidated reportingAssist the tax team to prepare and review: Year-end Financials & Tax Returns, Quarterly and Monthly Activity Statements, Payroll Tax, FBTSystem and efficiency development for clientsManaging client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfactionIdentifying opportunities for value-added services and provide proactive recommendations to clientsSupervising and mentoring junior accountants, providing guidance and support on technical accounting mattersUtilise app advisory platforms such as Fathom, Spotlight Reporting & Visible to improve existing reporting for clients and stakeholdersQualificationsCA/CPA qualification (or be working towards)4+ years experience in business services and/or VCFO workExperience reviewing the work of junior and/or offshore team membersStrong experience with relevant accounting systems including Xero & XPMExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience dealing with reporting tools such as Spotlight Reporting & Visible and exposure to the start-up industry/start-up clients would be highly advantageous, but not essentialHow to applyIf you are interested in this role please email your resume to (emailprotected) quoting reference AB17023.
