About the Project
HumeLink is a major transmission project that will strengthen the NSW electricity network. The East section delivers new transmission lines and infrastructure to support reliable power flow across the state. The project includes complex approvals, stakeholder interfaces, and works across diverse environments. ACCIONA plays a key role in delivering safe, sustainable outcomes.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support and continually improve our quality management systems, products, and processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory frameworks, while driving continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and procedures in line with ISO and customer requirements
* Support internal and external audits, including preparation, execution, and follow-up of corrective actions
* Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances
* Monitor and analyse quality performance metrics and report on trends
* Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement
* Review and approve technical documentation, inspection plans, and control plans
* Support supplier quality activities, including audits and issue resolution
* Ensure products and processes meet safety, regulatory, and customer expectations
About You
* Degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline
* Proven experience in a Quality Engineer or similar role
* Strong knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001 (or industry-specific standards)
* Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA)
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
