Mattress Builder | Intermediate | Bedding Production
Seeking an experienced Mattress Builder, Upholsterer, or Bedding Technician to contribute to the manufacture of high‐quality mattress products within a reputable manufacturing facility.
This is a permanent part‐time opportunity in a well‐established production environment.
About the Mattress Builder role
* Requires skills operating tape edge sewing machines, experience with sewing processes, and solid knowledge of bedding production.
* Hourly rate: competitive pay with additional piecework incentives.
* Location: Western Sydney metropolitan area.
Key responsibilities
* Operate multi‐needle sewing equipment to handle foam, fabric, and mattress pattern assembly.
* Assemble mattress components, including selecting appropriate spring units and padding layers.
* Perform quilting and tape edge sewing to complete mattress construction.
* Construct bed frames and bases using hand and pneumatic tools with timber and metal.
* Assist with inventory management, material handling tasks, and forklift operation as required.
