Bass Coast Children's Centre Inc is a not-for-profit community managed Centre providing exceptional childcare services, including a funded 3 year-old and 4-year-old Kindergarten Program, to families in the Wonthaggi and surrounding communities for more than 20 years. Our service has established sustained partnerships with other community service providers to enhance our holistic and diverse approach to supporting families and every child's individual needs. We value early childhood education as the foundation for lifelong learning. Our educational programs are reflective of emerging curriculum guidelines with a focus on child development and growth. Bass Coast Children's Centre is rated at Exceeding the National Quality Standard in all seven Quality Areas.

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care or ACECQA equivalent qualification.
- Current Working with Children (WWC) Check.
- Approved first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training in accordance with relevant legislation.
- Evidence of Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting training.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the National and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks.
- Commitment to best practice standards and professional development.
- Sound understanding of early childhood development and holistic approaches to care.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- This position is for a full-time Playroom Leader.
- You will develop and implement a holistic educational programs focuses on the individual needs of each child in your care; you will be focused on ensuring that children feel a sense of belonging within their environment and community.
- You will have a flair for engagement of children, adaptive learning experiences and exceptional supervision standards.
- You will work collaboratively with other team members on exciting projects unique to our service; you will also be committed to sustainability and the benefits of play within natural environments.
- Your knowledge of the stages of physical, emotional, cognitive, social and cultural development will be demonstrated in your capacity to provide experiences for the children within the educational programs.
- You will work with inspiring and committed educators to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and their families. You will demonstrate and approach tasks in a professional and proactive manner using initiative and flexibility.
