**Position: Customer Service (Front of House) team member - Receptionist**
**Responsibilities**:
- **Customer Reception**: Warmly greet customers, manage reservations and seating arrangements, and provide essential information as needed.
- **Order Management**: Efficiently handle orders using the restaurant management system, ensuring accurate and timely communication with the kitchen.
- **Telephone and Online Communication**: Answer phone calls, respond to customer inquiries, and process takeaway orders.
- **Payment Processing**: Handle various payment methods smoothly, ensuring a seamless checkout process.
- **Basic Food Preparation**: Assist the kitchen with simple food preparation tasks as needed.
- **Maintain a Clean Work Environment**: Keep the reception area tidy and organized, ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
**Position Requirements**:
- Relevant experience as a receptionist with strong English communication skills.
- A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is preferred.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to quickly learn restaurant management systems.
- Responsible, with strong independent work capabilities and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work long-term with flexible working hours.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
**Kitchen (Back of House) Team Member**
As a Kitchen Attendant at our establishment, you will be responsible for upholding high standards of food quality while adhering to health and safety regulations. Your roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- **Food Preparation**: Execute food prep tasks according to the chef's instructions, including washing, cutting, and peeling ingredients.
- **Cooking**: Assist in preparing a variety of hot dishes, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate.
- **Kitchen Hygiene**: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- **Pantry Management**: Regularly check and manage pantry supplies to ensure everything is well-stocked.
- **Stocking Ingredients**: Replenish ingredients as needed to support smooth kitchen operations.
- **Operational Efficiency**: Contribute to the efficiency and speed of kitchen operations, ensuring that all processes run smoothly.
**Working Hours**:
- **Monday to Friday**: 11:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- **Saturday to Sunday**: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $24.10 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 38 per week
