Job Overview
This role is a key part of our multidisciplinary team, focusing on optimizing patient assessment, preparation, and safety before surgery. The position is fully remote, telehealth-based and open to Nurse Practitioners across Australia.
Main Responsibilities
* Comprehensive Clinical Assessment and Screening of patients via telehealth platforms
* Care Coordination and Planning including arranging and interpreting relevant perioperative investigations and documenting individualised management plans in collaboration with anaesthetists
* Preventive and Supportive Care including educating patients on perioperative preparation and recovery, providing lifestyle and medication optimisation advice and promoting evidence-based preventive health interventions
About the Role
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with anaesthetists and administrative staff to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care through a virtual care model. This is a flexible, remote role supported by an experienced clinical and administrative team.
