**Airline Lounge Chef/ Manager at Melbourne Airport**
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef/ Manager to lead our premium airline lounge located at Melbourne Airport.
Main Responsibilities:
* Plan, supervise, and monitor food production and menu-based catering in the premium airline lounge.
* Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, & staff management.
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control, and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards.
* Deliver to clients and customers high expectations of a premium experience.
* Establish strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure best price and quality of produce.
* Monitor stock and minimize food wastage.
* Lead, train, and mentor team members.
The Ideal Candidate:
You will have a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences and be dedicated to sustainability and using local produce.
Requirements:
* Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery qualification.
* Solid leadership experience in a Head Chef role or similar.
* Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety.
* Possess a highly structured and organised approach, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Able to pass an ASIC security clearance background check.
