Some of the practical activities of the role include:
Supervision and management of geotechnical site investigations, including managing subcontractors
Organise and conduct field investigation works, including data collection;
Problem solve difficult geology by using analyses programs, working on projects such as landslides; hazards risk assessments; rock and anchor design
Adhere to relevant Work Health and Safety requirements
Prepare proposals by scoping investigations to target project outcomes and client requirements;
Engage in technical report writing

Bachelor Degree in
Engineering - Civil, Geotechnical
Sciences - Geology, Groundwater
Other criteria
Possession of a valid Australian driver's licence
You enjoy the balance of working onsite and in the office
An interest in continued learning and building your career in the geotechnical/environmental / groundwater and earthworks in the civil field
