ICT Support – SharePoint
Indie Education is looking for a full-time SharePoint Support Officer to join our team, based at our Indie Education site in Cowandilla, South Australia.
This role is responsible for providing user and technical support and advice to the company through various systems, processes and platforms.

Job Description:
Due to company expansion, an exciting opportunity has been created for a full-time SharePoint Support Officer to join our team, based in Greensborough, Victoria. The role will provide support to staff across all sites and programs that encompass Indie Education, including Indie School, Indie College, Aware Programs and Corporate Services. As a SharePoint Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the SharePoint / Microsoft 365 environment at Indie Education. This role will involve:
- Undertaking improvements on the new sites’ navigation / ease of use of each site, including improving how information is displayed on the sites.
- Undertaking library/page/document cleansing to remove unused library/pages/document without impacting the intended functionality of the new sites.
- Documenting and handing over work for ongoing maintenance, with collaborative knowledge transfer during configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Providing support to the testing process using an iterative configure and test approach and undertaking corrective action to ensure the business requirements are met.
- Assisting in the design, development, and deployment of the company’s SharePoint intranet portal to improve internal communication and document management.
- Managing user access, site permissions, and security settings in accordance with company policies.
- Monitoring SharePoint and OneDrive for performance, health, and compliance, taking proactive measures to resolve issues.
- Designing and implementing automated workflows using tools like Power Automate to streamline business processes.
- Integrating SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 applications, such as Teams, Power Apps, and Power BI, to create a cohesive digital ecosystem.
- Undertaking unit testing of changes and supporting business users conducting user acceptance testing including developing test scripts.
- Working to enhance and meet compliance obligations in the company SharePoint document library.
To be successful in this role you will be organized and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will work cooperatively with teams and individuals.
Preferred skills and experience:
- Knowledge and understanding of SharePoint records.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Information Management Systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently without supervision.
- Strong commitment to providing quality customer service.
- Knowledge and understanding of Power Automate (Power tools) automation.
- Experience developing workflows and integrating SharePoint with the Microsoft 365 environment.
This role will include:

- Attend to enquiries, obtain and provide information, assisting staff.

Currently hold or willing to obtain:
- National Police Check
- Working with Children's Check
