Behaviour Therapist Team Lead
We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Therapist to lead our team in Adelaide.
* This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and supervise skill building programs for children with ASD.
* The successful candidate will design and implement Behaviour Intervention Plans, conduct clinical assessments, and train families in behaviour management.
* Key responsibilities include developing positive relationships with clients, promoting their overall satisfaction, and providing regular supervision.
* Liaising with school/day-care/other allied health professionals and parents is essential to ensure consistency across the child's support network.
* Drawing on expertise, this position involves designing and delivering training programs for parents, clinical staff & external stakeholders as required.
About the Role:
This Behaviour Therapist Team Lead position plays a crucial part in supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental delays. As a leader within our team, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of high-quality services that cater to the diverse needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and supervise skill building programs for children aged 3 years and above with ASD.
2. Design and implement Behaviour Intervention Plans, including training of therapists and parents.
3. Conduct clinical assessments, write progress reports, and train families in behaviour management techniques.
4. Promote positive relationships with clients and provide regular supervision to foster growth and development.
5. Liaise with educational institutions, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care.
6. Create and deliver training programs tailored to meet the needs of parents, staff, and external partners.
