The Roles To assist in supporting this ongoing growth, there is now an amazing opportunity for an Employment Lawyer to join the established In-House Legal team on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for contributing to the business strategy and vision through the provision of expert legal advice in employment relations and industrial relations matter, ensuring the ongoing protection of business interests. The role will be varied across all areas of employment law, including but not limited to:- Advising P&P team across all Employment and IR matters including independent contractor matters. Advising on employment disputes relating to the termination of employment, unfair dismissal claims, post-employment restraints, redundancy advice, and contractor agreements. Manage employment related risk and compliance obligations such as Award interpretations and WGEA compliance Provide legal support to draft enterprise bargaining agreements. Assist with workplace investigations and the reviewing of reports and outcome letters. Manage HR policies and procedures Assist and advice in relation to WHS investigations Support workers compensation claims proceedings Represent the Group in employment related disputes before Fair Work Commission Supporting on employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
