Expression of Interest – Support Worker (Casual)
Bunbury Region | SIL, MTA & Respite Services
SIRV is expanding into the Bunbury region, and we are inviting experienced, proactive Support Workers to register their interest in joining our team as part of this exciting new chapter. This is an Expression of Interest (EOI) for upcoming casual roles as services commence locally. We are particularly keen to hear from support workers who live in or near Bunbury and want to be involved in building strong, person-centred supports in their own community.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver trauma-informed and person-centred supports
2. Support participants with psychosocial disability
3. Support participants with mental health needs
4. Support participants with complex behaviours
5. Implement and follow Behaviour Support Plans
6. Support participants to achieve their NDIS goals
7. Promote community integration and inclusion, including:
8. Identifying meaningful local activities
9. Supporting social connection and independence
10. Complete accurate documentation, progress notes and incident reporting
11. Work collaboratively as part of a new and growing regional team
What We're Looking For
12. Experienced Support Workers who are proactive and reliable
13. Confident working with complex needs
14. Passionate about community inclusion
15. Interested in being part of a service expansion
16. Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
17. Strong communication and professional boundaries
Essential Requirements
18. Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
19. Completion of NDIS Orientation Modules
20. Current First Aid & CPR
21. Valid driver's licence
22. Reliable car with comprehensive insurance
23. Minimum 1 year experience in disability and/or mental health support
24. Availability for shifts (including active shifts; on-call availability desirable)
