Project Surveyor Role
The Project Surveyor is responsible for performing field surveys, including control establishment, set-out, as-built capture, and verification of civil and infrastructure works. This role requires strong spatial reasoning, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret engineering drawings and ensure accurate positioning and layout across construction activities.
* Generate survey deliverables: as-built drawings, CAD files, digital terrain models (DTMs), and machine guidance files.
* Maintain survey documentation and adhere to internal QA/QC standards.
* Collaborate with project engineers, construction teams, and subcontractors to meet project requirements.
* Maintain and calibrate survey instruments and manage equipment use on site.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of survey workflows, safety compliance, and data management.

Requirements and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Spatial Science, Geomatics or equivalent, and proven experience in construction or engineering surveying, preferably within infrastructure or utilities sectors.
* Competent with total stations, GNSS/GPS, digital levels, and survey/CAD software.
* Strong communication and coordination skills.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence and the ability to travel to site locations.
