Job Overview
As a skilled Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of subcontracts throughout the project lifecycle.
The role involves:
* Managing subcontractor relationships and negotiating terms
* Processing claims and variations in accordance with contract terms
* Maintaining accurate records of contract correspondence and schedules
* Assisting in the resolution of contractual disputes and claims
* Monitoring subcontractor performance and ensuring compliance with contract terms
* Preparing and maintaining a contract register and schedule of contract deliverables
* Identifying and managing risks as well as opportunities
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or substantial experience performing the role
* A solid foundation of experience in contracts administration, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry
* An ability to build effective relationships with subcontractors and negotiate win-win outcomes
* A high level of attention to detail and ability to manage a workload with competing priorities
