The Mawson's Huts Foundation is seeking a capable and detail-oriented
Finance & Administration Officer
to support the day-to-day operations of our not-for-profit organisation. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across finance, administration, and systems in a small, purpose-driven team.
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing accounts in Xero, processing payroll and payments, reconciling bank and PayPal transactions, supporting HR administration, and assisting the CEO with reporting, compliance tracking, and general administration.
About You
You will have:
* Strong experience using Xero (essential)
* Bookkeeping and payroll experience
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confidence working independently
* Strong Word and Excel skills
Experience in the not-for-profit, heritage, or cultural sector will be highly regarded.
