The NWRH Theatre consists of four operating theatres providing Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, General Surgery, ENT, Endoscopy and dental services. The team is committed to a positive workplace culture and excellent clinical care within a supportive environment.
Role Overview
This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic operating theatre environment, providing complex patient care and ongoing educational development. You will work in a supportive multidisciplinary team on a rotating 7‐day roster, including morning and afternoon shifts, with on‐the‐job training and salary packaging.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and set up operating theatres with equipment and consumables.
* Safely transport and assist patients within all areas of the operating theatre suite.
* Support surgical teams and set up and manage theatre equipment in line with surgical requirements.
* Maintain strict hygiene, infection control standards, and patient confidentiality at all times.
Eligibility / Qualifications
* Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Operating Theatre Technician Specialisation).
* Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technical Support.
Salary
$67,193 to $72,126 per annum (Pro rata). A 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
