Squared Electrical Pty Ltd is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Administrator to support our financial and administrative operations. About the Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with our external accountants, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring compliance, and supporting the broader administration of our projects and operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Full oversight of Xero including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
* Coding and entering supplier invoices and allocating costs to jobs/projects
* Liaising with project managers, suppliers, and the Director to maintain accurate financial records
* Assisting with compliance documentation, insurances, and licencing records
* Invoicing clients and following up outstanding accounts
* Occasional support with material orders and procurement tracking for projects
* General administrative tasks such as document control, office supply management, and ad hoc support to field teams
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal systems and office organisation
About You
* Experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or electrical services sector
* Proficient in Xero and confident managing accounts end-to-end
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A proactive communicator who works well independently and within a small team
* Familiarity with construction project workflows and job costing is advantageous
