**The opportunity
We are seeking a talented **Production Planner** to join our Ground Systems team who support ground-based training and operational environments, the role can be based in **Newcastle or Brisbane**.
**Responsibilities
- Issuing of Purchase Requests for all materials, external services and subcontractors aligned with project schedule requirements.
- Working within the engineering framework to support execution, in accordance with plans & processes, to successfully deliver project outcomes
- Engaging effectively with project managers, team leads, buyers, and engineers to ensure all projects milestones are supported and achieved.
- Analyse technical directives, drawings, maintenance and modification forecasts, Technical Maintenance Plan
- Develop Work Orders, Bills of Materials and Graphic Aids from Technical Directives, Modification Orders and associated drawings
**Experience/Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years Production planning experience in a maintenance and or manufacture environment.
- Excellent communication skills that enable the applicant to influence outcomes in a group environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for process improvement.
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
