What will you do?
* Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
* Conduct temperature and quality checks, effectively managing cross-contamination to ensure WHS compliance, displaying a strong commitment to meeting Food Safety standards
* Support kitchen team members in establishing and sustaining an organised and efficient workspace
* Take on cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, waste disposal and management, operating a commercial dishwasher and handling cleaning chemicals
* Execute food preparation tasks within a commercial kitchen environment, showcasing excellent food presentation skills
More About You
* Previous experience as a kitchenhand
* Food Safety Certificate
* Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster, including early mornings and late nights
