About The Role
The State-wide Equipment Program (SWEP) is funded by the Department of Health to provide subsidy funding to assist those Victorians who are frail aged, or who have a permanent or long-term disability to timely access to subsidy programs for the provision of aids, equipment and modifications to enhance/maintain their safety and independence, facilitate community participation and support families and carers in their role.
This role will provide a high level of administration support and will be responsible for undertaking and processing applications in line with relevant guidelines and program processes to ensure that the service achieves its aims.
Key Responsibilities
Processing funding requestsChecking eligibility of consumersLiaising with consumers, Allied Health Practitioners and suppliersManaging incoming phone queue and email drop box
Skills & Experience
Competent in MS office suite and computer functionsExperience as an administration officerCustomer service skillsEmpathetic to consumers and their needsProactive and positive approach to work
