Regional Purchasing Director
The Regional Purchasing Director will oversee the procurement of goods and services for a specific region, developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities:
* Develop strategic procurement plans aligned with regional business goals
* Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving cost savings
* Initiate and negotiate supplier agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
* Monitor market trends, analyzing data to inform procurement decisions and identify opportunities for process improvement
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement projects that drive business value
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or operations in an industrial or manufacturing setting
* Strategic sourcing and supplier management expertise
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
* Proficiency in ERP/procurement systems, such as SAP or Ariba
