The Institute of Medical Education is in search of an enthusiastic and driven Simulated Patient/Administration Officer to join our dynamic team. In collaboration with General Practitioners, the selected candidate will serve as the community representative on an interview assessment panel, actively participating in history-taking role plays with scripted scenarios. The candidate will also play a pivotal role in coordinating and scheduling other panel members (General Practitioners), ensuring the smooth execution of each interview assessment.
This opportunity is open for part-time candidates. If opting for part-time, flexibility is considered advantageous. Due to the involvement in interview assessments, this position is based in-office, within our Benowa location.
Key duties and responsibilities encompass:
* Conducting history-taking role plays during interview assessments.
* Planning, scheduling, and facilitating assessment days.
* Ensuring strict adherence to assessment protocols for each examination.
* Rostering panel members for upcoming examinations.
* Coordinating training for new panel members and arranging cover for any panel members on leave.
* Collaborating with other panel members to strategise for assessment days.
* Overseeing the reporting process to ensure the timely and accurate completion of required documentation.
