About the Opportunity
As a DevOps Engineer, you will support the core technology for SDPR by:
* Taking accountability for the design, implementation, and operations of hosting the Epic software solution on the Amazon Web Services Public Cloud platform.
* Supporting the SDPR program's capability to deliver subsequent implementation schedules to time, budget, and quality.
In this role, you will:
* Deliver complex systems architecture and ensure the successful building, operating and running of products or platforms in alignment with relevant roadmaps.
* Deploy, and manage the foundational infrastructure for robustness, scalability, and fault tolerance.
* Account for optimisation, cost efficiency, integrations, and automation.
* Collaborate with the team to achieve cross‐functional synergy, lifting the overall capability of the Epic platform.
* Collaborate with various technical and non‐technical stakeholders, including platform and product owners, solution architects, engineers, project team members, and SMEs from our partners.
About you
* Experience and/or qualifications with systems operations of application or infrastructure services, including documentation, in a large and complex shared services environment
* Moderate level skillset with Scripting, Version control and any other Code based experience.
* Demonstrated ability to work with provider and platform services including, but not limited to Microsoft Active Directory, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops and Networking / Firewall components as well as knowledge of Windows, Linux, Database, Storage and Backup in cloud environments
* Experience and knowledge with server administration in a complex enterprise environment including patch management, file share management, website hosting and Anti‐virus
* Demonstrated relevant experience in Incident, Change and Event management processes and technologies as aligned with ITIL methodologies including fault finding and liaising with stakeholders during a critical event
* Demonstrated ability to liaise with management, vendors, partners and customers both internal and external to eHealth.
