Talent Acquisition Advisor - State Government


About the role:

Are you passionate about connecting great people with a great organization? A well-respected State Government organisation in Bendigo, Victoria, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join its People & Capability team.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative talent strategies to attract and hire the best talent. You'll work closely with hiring managers and HR business partners to understand their needs, build strong candidate pipelines, and elevate our overall recruitment process.

You will also get to:

* Lead with strategy: Develop and execute creative sourcing methods and employer branding initiatives.
* Enhance the candidate journey: Champion a positive candidate experience and support our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
* Collaborate and influence: Partner with the Communications team to strengthen our employer brand and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
* Build talent pools: Proactively create and maintain talent pools for critical roles, significantly reducing time-to-fill.
* Manage the full cycle: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from leveraging various sourcing channels to coordinating the development of employment offers.


About you:


We are looking for an experienced recruitment professional with a passion for talent acquisition. You should have proven, hands-on experience managing the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, preferably within a fast-paced environment.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

* Expertise in attracting and sourcing candidates through diverse channels.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human resources information systems (HRIS).
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
* Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* The ability to provide sound advice and recommendations based on policy, procedure, and professional standards.
* Experience handling sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
