Inpatient Psychologist, Queensland Health
As a member of the Allied Health Psychology Department, provide competent level evidence based and best practice clinical psychology assessment, intervention, and evaluation to facilitate optimal inpatient outcomes for consumers, their families and carers, and relevant stakeholders. The position functions as part of a multidisciplinary inpatient team based at the Caboolture and Kilcoy Hospitals.
About you
* Deliver competent level clinical psychology services (clinical, health, psychometric assessment and interventions) to consumers, their families and carers, and relevant stakeholders within a multidisciplinary inpatient team
* Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to psychological decision making under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance from senior psychology staff.
* Utilise effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage consumers, and their family and carers to optimise clinical and service delivery outcomes.
