Job Description
We are seeking a sales professional to join our team as an Account Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for growing revenue through new account acquisition, focusing on small and medium business accounts in Australia and New Zealand.
As an Account Executive, you will be the primary point of contact for these customers, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute prospecting plans and establish rapport with key decision-makers.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in software sales, preferably B2B, and experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology.
Responsibilities include:
* Qualifying and managing prospects and opportunities within Salesforce.com
* Developing and executing prospecting plans to establish relationships with key players
* Collaborating with cross-functional peers to propose tailored solutions that meet customer needs
* Networking and researching accounts to identify key players and generate interest
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 2+ years of demonstrated successful software sales, preferably B2B
* Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology desired
* Proven record of success in inside sales and/or outside sales-based selling models
* Ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email with customers
* Proficiency with Google Suite products and online collaboration tools
* Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, specifically Salesforce.com
