Audit Manager l Sydney l Up to 140K The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has become available for an External Audit Manager to join a dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will lead multiple audit engagements, provide technical expertise, and play a key role in developing both clients and junior team members. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a portfolio of audit engagements from planning through to completion Review audit work, financial statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance Provide technical guidance on complex accounting and audit matters Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements Identify and resolve audit and accounting issues with a proactive approach Present key findings and insights to Partners and stakeholders Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor Deliver high-quality outcomes within budget and agreed timelines Support Partners in business development and growth initiatives Mentor, train, and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performing team culture About You Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field CA/CPA qualified (or near completion) Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen 5 years’ experience in external audit within a professional services environment Strong technical knowledge of Australian accounting and auditing standards Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines Commercial mindset with an interest in business development Why Join?
