About Us
QLD Roof Replacements is a proudly family-owned business that’s been serving Queenslanders since 2005. We’re a tight-knit crew that works hard, supports each other, and values doing things the right way, every time. From roofing and asbestos removal to joinery and all kinds of building works, we’ve built a strong reputation based on trust, quality, and reliability.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Project Supervisor / Project Manager to help drive projects on the ground and keep jobs running smoothly from start to finish.
About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a hands-on Project Supervisor / Project Manager to oversee and deliver a wide range of construction projects. This role is based out of our Underwood office, with regular travel to sites across Brisbane and surrounding areas.
You’ll be responsible for managing jobs end-to-end — from scoping and quoting through to supervising works on site and liaising with clients. This is not a desk-only role; it suits someone who understands construction, can talk to trades properly, and isn’t afraid to get involved when needed.
You’ll work closely with management, admin staff, subcontractors, and internal crews to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Scoping and quoting building, roofing, and maintenance works
* Coordinating and supervising trades, subcontractors, and internal staff
* Scheduling works, deliveries, and labour to meet project timelines
* Monitoring job progress and resolving issues as they arise
* Liaising directly with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with WHS requirements, building codes, and company procedures
* Maintaining job documentation, records, and reporting
* Upholding quality standards across all sites
About You
* Strong background in carpentry, building, or construction project management
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar supervisory or project management role
* Sound understanding of construction methods, materials, and site processes
* Confident communicator who can deal with trades, clients, and management
* Organised, reliable, and capable of running multiple jobs at once
* Able to problem-solve and make decisions without constant supervision
* Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to job sites
* Must have valid Australian work rights
Bonus Points If You Have
* Trade qualification in Carpentry or Building
* Experience working on government or QBuild projects
* Previous experience supervising mixed trades across multiple sites
Why Join Us?
* Long-standing, stable family-run company with a strong reputation
* Competitive salary based on experience
* Company vehicle and mobile phone provided
* Potential performance-based bonuses
* Supportive team environment where experience is valued
* Opportunity for long-term growth within the business
If you’re experienced, practical, and want to work with a company that still believes in doing things properly — we’d like to hear from you.
