Role Description
This is a casual position for 20 hours per week to start with, with the potential to become a full-time role depending on performance and the amount of new business brought into the company.
About the role
This is a hands‐on, client‐facing role suited to someone who enjoys being out in the field, meeting people, building relationships, and winning new business.
You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, visiting businesses in person, introducing our services, preparing quotes, and helping convert opportunities into ongoing cleaning contracts. This role requires someone proactive, persuasive, and comfortable working independently.
Key responsibilities
* Identify and approach potential clients across commercial and industrial sectors
* Drive to client offices, workplaces, and sites to introduce our services
* Meet with decision‐makers and build strong professional relationships
* Discuss clients' current cleaning arrangements and service needs
* Prepare and present quotations and service proposals
* Follow up leads and convert opportunities into ongoing business
* Maintain accurate records of client visits, enquiries, quotes, and outcomes
* Represent the company professionally and confidently at all times
* Support the growth of the business by bringing in new clients and contracts
What we are looking for
* To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Experience in sales, business development, marketing, or client relationship management
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Confidence in face‐to‐face meetings and presenting services
* A proactive and results‐driven attitude
* The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
* Good organisational and follow‐up skills
* A valid driver's licence
* Reliable transportation, as the role involves regular travel to meet clients
