Job Description
About the role
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Parts Salesperson to join our team. In this role, you will ensure internal and external customers receive the correct parts in a timely manner, while delivering a consistently high level of service across phone, counter and inter-branch sales.
You'll play a key role in supporting our Service and Sales teams and maintaining efficient parts operations within a fast‐paced heavy equipment environment.
Key responsibilities
* Process and manage parts orders, including pricing, sourcing and supplier ordering
* Interpret customer and technician parts enquiries accurately and efficiently
* Provide high-quality customer service via phone, counter and email
* Pick, pack and dispatch parts orders and receipting of incoming stock
* Assist with inventory control, stock counts and general warehouse activities
* Support Service and Sales teams with parts and product knowledge
* Maintain accurate records in parts and inventory systems
* Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and company policies
About you
* Previous experience in parts interpretation or parts sales (heavy equipment or automotive preferred)
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Confident using computerised parts and inventory systems
* Good attention to detail and administration skills
* Forklift licence (desirable, not essential)
