An exciting opportunity exists for a Social Worker - Senior to join the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Sushine Coast University Hospital, Birtinya.
As a highly functioning multidisciplinary team member, deliver high level Social Work clinical services and leadership across one or more specific work units, to stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health.
Social Work clinicians within the Allied Health Service Delivery Model work as a team to meet clinical demand in keeping with Clinical Prioritisation Document. Staff maybe required to work across other clinical services and facilities within Service Delivery Model as required to assist in meeting patient care needs, managing leave cover, and succession planning of staff.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities Include:
* This position requires you to adhere to National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and the Sunshine Coast Health Safe Care Framework, which has been developed in collaboration with staff, consumers and key stakeholders to enable our vision of health and wellbeing through person-centred care.
* Deliver independent high level social work clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
* Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
* Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced social work practitioners and students as delegated.
Remuneration value up to $13,113 p.m., comprising salary between $4912.70 - $5286.40 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Fixed Term Temporary position available for up to 10 months).
