Seeking an experienced professional to lead our morning coverage of key business, economics and financial markets news. This role requires setting the national agenda, staying abreast of breaking news, and generating original stories.
The successful candidate will have outstanding experience in business, economics and finance reporting and presenting. Key responsibilities include:
* Presentation on Radio National Breakfast, News Channel, audio current affairs and audio on demand
* Developing high-level contacts to secure exclusive information
You will be able to demonstrate:
* Breaking business, economics and/or finance stories that are picked up by other media
* Practical knowledge and understanding of current and historical issues in business, economics and finance
* Broadcast presentation skills for audio and television
* High level editorial judgement in business, economics and finance news
