Elliott Gray is bringing you yet another exciting opportunity, on this occasion an ICT helpdesk role with a not-for-profit organisation. We have partnered with the Industry Capability Network which strives to provide an experienced industry procurement and supply chain of specialists who introduce businesses large and small, to projects across Australia and New Zealand. The Industry Capability Network is a team that has been created over the past 35 years, to increase economic activity and employment opportunities for local companies.

Now we are looking for you to come on board and grow with the team!

You are the Digital systems ICT support for the company! You will be the first point of contact to assist the users, including all clients and stakeholders with issues related to the ICN Gateway and toolbox. The major focus of the role will be to provide top-class service desk support for the national system for all the small to medium enterprises level clients.

In addition, your new role offers the diversity of assisting the team and looking at three potential avenues for natural progression within the business. The first option, you’ll work closely with the team to develop your knowledge of the business and how to streamline internal & external processes to ensure there is a redundant resource available to the business, becoming a business analyst. The second option is to grow into a junior developer where you will be utilizing the Microsoft framework, PHP, and AWS to complete work with the development team and assist in the testing of the product. The third option is to work toward a project support role where you’ll be supporting the Nation ICT Systems Manager in general administration and coordination.

You as the successful applicant, will have excellent communication skills and can easily analyse, check, and problem-solve customer needs to provide end-to-end user support for the Industry Capability Networks bespoke system. You’ll bring experience in a related Information Technology support role and have experience in logging, escalating and follow-up procedures. Finally, if you have a qualification to back that up, that is your competitive advantage! Experience in one of the other three fields is desired but if you bring an outstanding attitude and the drive to succeed, that is the most vital attribute needed for this position.
