As a member of our Corporate Executive management team, the Chief Financial Officer plays a pivotal role in managing, planning, and implementing our strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* The position leads the Finance and Procurement Branch, ensuring the preparation of annual financial reports, monthly financial statements, and associated Board reports.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing RIA's procurement activities in accordance with Western Australian Procurement Rules.
* High-level advice will be provided on financial systems, financial risk management, and complex financial issues.

Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated experience in managing finance functions and associated key outputs including budget preparation within public sector financial reporting requirements.
* Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, including computer literacy and advanced user skills in financial and analytical software.
* Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including well-developed written and oral communication skills.
* Possession of a relevant accounting qualification and current membership of an appropriate professional accounting body.
