About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a physiotherapist to provide a high quality clinical service to clients/patients/ consumers and their families/carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for clients/patients/ consumers of the service. You will be working with a team of physiotherapists and administration staff. You will be working as a senior physiotherapist in surgical, orthopaedic and outpatient physiotherapy to provide clinical service to clients and provide clinical advice to colleagues in a team of 10-20 staff members.
You will be working predominantly but not limited to surgical ward, fracture clinic and outpatient (including hand therapy).
As part of Physiotherapy Department, you will receive supervision from colleagues and your direct line manager. You will be invited to attend in-services in the department. You also be encouraged to attend appropriate courses where you can develop the skills that may improve the care you provide.
About you:
The position will require the successful candidate to show skills such as self-motivation, autonomy, compassion, enthusiasm and good time management skills in order to complete tasks required each day. Our ideal candidate will possess skills, knowledge, experience and additional appropriate training in surgical, orthopaedic and outpatient areas including advanced casting skills and manufacturing thermoplastic splints.
Requirements:
* Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in Physiotherapy with current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Minimum of 3 years full time clinical experience.
