We are a casual Dining Seafood restaurant with a growing reputation in offering Locals and visitors a direct link to the renowned Mooloolaba Seafood industry.
As the Deck Restaurant is a part of Mooloolah River Fisheries, successful applicants will have an opportunity to see the freshest seafood come straight off the boats and into our kitchens
Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are currently seeking applications for an experienced Cook/Chef based on Sunshine Coast.
Overview
Your day-to-day routine will look something like this:
* Food preparation, cooking, plating, presentation.
* Preparing Short order meals
* Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies.
* Cleaning and sanitising all food preparation areas, utensils, and contact surfaces
All about you
* Previous experience as a cook / short order/fry cook with min 1-2 years within the hotel/club industry is preferred but not essential
* Someone looking to complete their apprenticeship is also encouraged to apply
* Previous experience in the seafood industry is an advantage
* RSA (advantageous)
* Must be experienced in deep frying.
* Available on Weekends, Public Holidays & evening shifts as required
* Sound knowledge of basic food safety.
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
* Passionate about providing high standards of food service.
* Punctual, reliable, and well presented with an ability to work autonomously.
