Group Digital Lead
News Australia is seeking a Group Digital Lead to be the digital subject matter expert within our high-performing Client Partnerships team. This pivotal role influences digital strategy, accelerates revenue growth, and uplifts digital capability across the business, partnering with our largest clients to unlock the value of NA's vast digital assets.
Responsibilities
* Act as the digital subject matter expert, guiding best practices, strategic product application, and translating complex features into clear commercial value propositions for clients.
* Drive digital revenue through strategic planning, product alignment, and continuous monitoring of key metrics (revenue, pipeline, conversion, forecasting) to identify and act on growth opportunities.
* Embed digital thinking into all client stages, delivering tailored, data‑led strategies and solutions that align with the client's digital maturity and marketing objectives.
* Coach and mentor the Client Partnerships team to significantly increase their digital capability, confidence, and adoption of new digital initiatives.
* Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and internal sales data to inform planning and maintain/grow digital market share through category and client‑specific strategies.
* Provide structured feedback to Product teams on market needs, identifying emerging trends to support the refinement and development of NA's digital product roadmap.
Qualifications
* 3–5 years' experience in digital media, strategy, or sales, specifically in driving digital revenue.
* Track record of delivering data‑led client solutions and successfully driving digital revenue outcomes.
* Experienced in advising teams and clients, shaping digital strategy, and embedding integrated digital solutions across campaigns.
* Ability to see future possibilities, translate them into breakthrough strategies, and apply strong business insight to advance organizational goals.
* Consistent achievement of results, holding oneself to high standards, and instilling trust through integrity and commitment follow‑through.
* Proven ability to build partnerships, work collaboratively across functions (internal and external), and challenge "us vs. them" thinking.
* Deep expertise in digital platforms, products, and market trends to inform solution design and positioning.
* Actively seeking new and better ways for the organization to be successful, offering original ideas, and appreciating others' creative input.
