Overview
Clinical Psychologist - Kids Hub Therapy Team. This is a temporary part-time role (16 hours per week) until 30 June 2026 (with the possibility of extension) at Warilla Community Health Centre, Warilla. Salary: $55.10 - $67.16 per hour + 12% super & salary packaging. Applications close: 23 September 2025.
Responsibilities
Deliver psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions for children referred to the Head to Health Kids service.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team of medical, nursing, and allied health clinicians, along with support staff.
Provide a family- and child-focused approach with emphasis on attachment, parent–child relationships, and building parenting capacity to meet a child's emotional needs.
Draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including psychoeducation, direct work with children and/or parents/carers, family therapy, group programs, and telehealth support.
Service Context
This service is part of a nationwide roll out of Kids Hubs, jointly funded by NSW Health and the Australian Government to provide early intervention mental health and wellbeing support for children up to 12 years old. A Position Description is available for view.
Qualifications and Requirements
Current AHPRA Registration
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Valid NSW Driver's Licence
