About the Role
The ServiceNow Platform Manager focuses on overseeing the operational management, development, and enhancement of the platform to support the University's diverse needs. The Platform Manager collaborates with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery and continuous improvement of platform services.
The Platform Manager will ensure that ServiceNow aligns with the organisation's strategic goals, operates effectively, and continues to evolve to meet changing needs of the University.
About You
As the Platform Manager, ServiceNow you will have:
Strong background and expertise in the relevant technology platform.
Proven ability to effectively oversee platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements while minimising disruption to users and ensuring seamless transitions.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience in implementing security measures
Proven ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with the platform, including cybersecurity threats and data vulnerabilities.
Experience in conducting regular platform performance assessments and capacity planning, utilising data-driven insights to optimise platform operations and ensure scalability and reliability.
Demonstrates proficiency in agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban with a proven track record of successful collaboration within agile teams and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Role and Responsibilities
Formulate and execute a comprehensive strategy that aligns the ServiceNow platform's capabilities with the university's overarching goals and objectives.
Define, embed and continuously improve the Platform's best practices, standards, and methodologies contributing to process improvement and efficiency.
Provide expert advice specific to the Platform to inform decision-making with respect to prioritising the delivery and funding of enhancements across the Platform.
Lead the continuous improvement and expansion of the ServiceNow platform's capabilities, identifying opportunities to integrate new functionalities and optimise existing features to meet evolving university requirements.
Ensure the ServiceNow platform adheres to security protocols, regulatory standards, and data privacy regulations.
Collaborate with compliance teams to conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain platform integrity and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
