About the Role
The Manager, Claims & Injury Management is a senior leadership role reporting to the National Manager, who will be responsible for leading a team of Claims & Injury Management Specialists to deliver high-quality, client-focused services
This role combines hands-on client portfolio management with people leadership, capability development, and strategic advisory support. You will work closely with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders to ensure best-practice claims and injury management outcomes, while strengthening team capability and contributing to business growth.
You will balance people leadership, client delivery, and strategic oversight, working closely with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders to achieve strong outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Claims & Injury Management Specialists
Drive performance, capability development, and service excellence
Manage client relationships and ensure delivery in line with service agreements
Maintain your own client portfolio, providing expert advice on workers' compensation claims, legislation, and injury management strategy
Support RTW programs, claims reviews, settlements, and insurer engagement
Identify cross-sell and new business opportunities
Represent the business at industry and networking events
About You
10+ years' experience in workers' compensation claims and injury management
Allied Health qualification and/or extensive claims management experience
Proven experience leading and developing teams
Strong knowledge of workers' compensation legislation and claims frameworks
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder and negotiation skills
Proactive, adaptable, and client-focused
Experience with Claims Management Systems
High level of written and verbal communication
