Tailor-Made Role
We have a new tailor-made position as a Production Assistant. You will play a key part in the assembly, production and supply of security products to our commercial customers, face-to-face via our trade desk and to also to our mobile service team. This position also has exposure and involvement to various operational aspects of the whole business, including daily operations, product assembly, service delivery and stock movement/control.
Responsibilities
- Assembly and building of security products including locks, padlocks and door/gate hardware
- Building and maintaining high security restricted key systems
- Rekeying locks and cutting restricted keys
- Face-to-face trade desk customer service & sales
- Inquiries and sales of security products including safes, padlocks, locks & door hardware
- Stock requests, orders, receivable, and stores coordination
- Customer order dispatch
- Quality management
- General workflow and operational coordination to maintain a clean, organized and efficient workplace
Previous Experience
- Face-to-face customer service
- Fine motor skills and use of handheld tools
- Workshop or production experience
- Commercial/trade-based business experience
- Computer literate
