About the Role:
Careers in food service involve providing high-quality dining experiences to ensure a high quality of life for our residents. We are looking for an individual to join our team as a support staff member.
* Providing meal service, including assisting with meal preparation, and ensuring a quality dining experience.
* Maintaining a cooperative team spirit and supporting colleagues.
* Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents by following all policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is desirable but not essential.
* A good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene.
* Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people.
* The ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families.
* NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
