We are seeking a Gardener to join our crew at Canobie Station. Canobie Station is located 200km north of Cloncurry, in the Gulf Region. The property is a breeding station running predominantly Brahman cattle.
In this role you will be responsible for keeping the gardens and surrounding areas in a presentable manner whilst performing general garden maintenance as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out duties in a planned way, following work schedules, organising materials and equipment
* Mow, whipper snip and water lawn areas within the station complex
* Feed animals around the homestead
* Perform routine checks on all equipment before use
* Complete any maintenance as required and report any major repair needs on machinery
* Maintain a tidy/clean workplace and quarters
Experience and skills you'll have
* Current Drivers Licence
* Ability to work both alone and as part of a team
* Ability to organise/prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, whilst working under pressure
* Mature and rational approach to problem-solving
* Flexibility - able to meet changing requirements
* Ongoing training and development, both on-the-job and from external providers.
