Busy Bees at Kalgoorlie is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Service Manager (2IC) to support the Centre Director in leading our high-quality service. About the Role
As the 2IC, you will work closely with the Centre Director to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the service. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting daily leadership and operational management of the centre
* Guiding, mentoring, and developing educators to deliver high-quality practice
* Assisting with family engagement, enrolments, and community relationships
* Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, Regulations, and NQS
* Delivering and supporting educational programs aligned with the EYLF
* Leading the centre in the absence of the Centre Director
* Supporting rostering, documentation, and continuous improvement processes
What You'll Need
* Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved)
* Experience as a Lead Educator, Educational Leader, or Assistant Director
* Strong understanding of EYLF, NQS, and compliance requirements
* Current Working with Children Check (Employee) – WA requirement
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to lead, inspire, and cultivate a positive team culture
