Synergie Australia is seeking an APS6 Clinician for a trusted national client based in Hobart .
The important parts:
* Pay: $67-76 per hour + Super
* Duration: 12-month tenure, with a further 12-month extension option
* Hours: Monday–Friday, Hobart based
* Candidates must be Australian citizens
What you will be required to do:
You will provide high‑quality, trauma‑informed clinical support to individuals and families accessing mental health services. This is a hands‑on, client‑focused role working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence‑based care.
* Conduct clinical intake, assessment, and risk evaluations.
* Provide individual, couple and family counselling.
* Develop care plans, treatment formulations, and progress reviews.
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case notes.
* Consult with internal teams, families, and external treatment providers.
* Participate in case reviews, professional supervision, and ongoing development.
* Co‑facilitate group programs and psychoeducation sessions.
* Support service quality, continuity of care and consistent client experience.
To be successful in the role you will:
* Hold registration as a Psychologist, Social Worker, Counsellor, Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse-
* Bring experience delivering clinical assessments and evidence‑based interventions.
* Demonstrate confidence working with complex presentations and trauma‑informed care.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with strong emotional intelligence-
* Maintain high‑quality documentation and manage competing clinical priorities.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Be initiative-taking, adaptable, and solutions‑focused.
* Be an Australian citizen and able to obtain Baseline clearance.
