Job Title

A Venue Management Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to fill the role of Venue Manager, responsible for leading a high-performance community-minded culture at our facility.

As the Venue Manager, you will be fully accountable for the facility's operations, staff leadership, financial performance, and program deliverables.

You will deliver and drive exceptional customer service and a culture of teamwork by coaching and developing staff to achieve KPIs through engagement, performance planning, and individual development plans.


Responsibilities

* Lead a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
* Develop and execute operational plans in conjunction with the leadership team and stakeholders.
* Recruit, develop, and lead a skilled and passionate team to achieve business objectives.
* Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Council partners.
* Implement customer-centric initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Manage budgets, financial reports, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient operation.


Requirements

* Proven experience in venue management, preferably in a leisure or sporting industry.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to drive decision-making.
* Highly organized and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
* Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
