An opportunity exists for an experienced and commercially astute Non-Executive Director to join the contemporary, skills-based Board, providing governance oversight in navigating a rapidly evolving and complex landscape to ensure the organisation’s sustainability and community impact. You will provide strategic insights across commercial strategy, risk, financial stewardship, stakeholder engagement and performance evaluation. Governance qualifications (AICD) and skills and expertise in one or more of the following areas are required:

* highly developed commercial and financial expertise in large complex environments;
* experience identifying and guiding strategic growth opportunities to enhance long term sustainability;
* a strong understanding of enterprise risk framework in highly regulated sectors;
* experience with complex government contracts, funding models and compliance obligations;
* familiarity with navigating government policy, regulatory frameworks and sector specific legislation;
* ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including government, community and industry partners.

Highly developed communication skills, a collaborative mindset, sound judgment, high emotional intelligence and integrity and a genuine affinity with Workskil Australia's purpose, vision and values will be essential for effective Board contribution.
