We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant and lead our front-of-house team. About the Role
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high standard of service, efficient operations and strong team performance. Working under the direction of the General Manager, you will lead the front‐of‐house team, maintain excellent guest experiences and support business performance through effective operational management.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service
* Lead, train and motivate the front‐of‐house team to maintain a professional and high‐performing work environment
* Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
* Control stock levels for beverages and front‐of‐house supplies and coordinate ordering with suppliers
* Demonstrate extensive wine knowledge, including types and food pairings, to enhance service standards and elevate guest experience
* Monitor sales performance and assist in implementing strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency
* Work closely with the General Manager to ensure service standards, operational goals and business objectives are met
* Manage staffing, rostering and service coverage to ensure efficient operations
* Maintain compliance with WHS, licensing and company policies
* Handle operational issues and problem‐solve in real time during service
About You
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a Restaurant Manager role within a premium or high‐quality dining environment
* Strong leadership and team management skills in the Hospitality industry
* Excellent organisational and problem‐solving abilities
* Extensive wine knowledge and confidence assisting guests and staff with recommendations
* Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
