**About the branch** 
The Finance Property and Procurement Branch provide critical services for the agency and the AIC. 
The Branch requires a wide variety of skills and experience in order to provide the following functions: 
- Budget management and reporting e.g. input to portfolio budget statements, management reporting 
- Financial reporting e.g. monthly and annual financial statements 
- Financial operations e.g. accounts payable and receivable, cash management 
- Taxation, travel and credit card services 
- Business support e.g. fleet, mail, stationery, office services 
- National property projects e.g. fitouts, relocations 
- Procurement services 
- Language services (linguists) 
**About the role** 
The Administrative Support Officer (ASO) works collaboratively with their team members to provide administrative support for the office including, but not limited to, tasks such as general facilities management including escorting of contractors, procurement and distribution of stores such as stationery, milk, toner cartridges and WHS equipment, asset management, exhibits management, fleet administration, car park ballots and visitor bay allocations, data entry and processing of financial information. 
The ASO works closely with operational teams, administrative staff, managers and external partners and providers to ensure that office operational outputs are supporting the ACIC. 
- Is able to work unsupervised on routine duties, self-manage and prioritise workloads and demonstrated commitment to service delivery. 
- Displays well-developed oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and team skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
- Has administrative and data entry skills, including attention to detail when using SAP, MS Office, and other ICT products or systems.

- Please note that a valid Australian Drivers licence is required for this position and work outside normal working hours may be required.

Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain, or continue to hold, the required security clearance for this role. 
All ACIC employees are required to hold a minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance, unless otherwise specified.
