We're looking for an experienced Service Technician, based out of the Toowoomba branch.About the roleIn this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a wide range of livestock handling equipment at various client locations across the Toowoomba and wider regions, including other parts of QLD.This role requires a good understanding of mechanical, electrical (12v), pneumatics and fabrication, as well as problem-solving and customer service skills.Key ResponsibilitiesOn-site Service & Repair: Travel to client locations to diagnose & repair equipment malfunctions, perform preventative maintenance & ensure optimal performanceTroubleshooting: Utilise diagnostic tools & technical expertise to identify root cause of equipment failures & implement effective solutionsMaintenance: Conduct regular maintenance on equipmentClient Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, provide updates on repair progress, explain technical issues & ensure client satisfactionMentorship: Provide guidance & support to junior technicians, share knowledge & best practicesParts Management: Assist in managing parts inventoryDocumentation: Accurately document all service activities, including diagnoses, repairs & maintenance performedSafety: Adhere to all safety regulations & procedures, ensure a safe working environment for all.Qualifications & ExperiencePrevious experience as a Service Technician, preferably in a rural/agricultural settingGood mechanical, 12v electrical, hydraulic & electronic diagnostic & repair skillsProblem-solving abilities & ability to troubleshootTrade qualification in a relevant field preferredFamiliarity with agricultural practices & equipment well regardedCustomer service skills & ability to work independentlyExperience with animal handling would be an advantageValid driver's license and forklift experienceWhy join ClipexUse of fully maintained tool of trade vehicleImmediate start for the right personDevelopment opportunitiesExcellent working environment in a great teamWho Are WeClipex began from a strong desire to help people and find an easier way for farmers.
